Google+ and Company pages

We love Google's answer to the social platform. The 'company pages' are a great feature and we are bugging all our clients to set one up. The Dark Green company page was set up last weekend and we will be adding content to it weekly or whenever anything cool happens.

Light room tests

We have been busy playing around with various light set ups to enhance some of the 3D visuals we are required to produce for print. Working together with our clients we keep them updated on the progress during testing and development, so when they see something they like, they just shout STOP!.

We built this test light room using the actual object surfaces as lights to give a much more natural softer feel to the lighting rather than harsh spotlights. The testing continues...

Never Had You-a short film

This month we are very excited to be starting work on a new short film, Never Had You. The film will be shot in London and is a legal drama with a strong emotional story behind it.
Director Charlotte George will be taking the reins as well as leading the editing team when the film moves in to post production.

Unchartered 3: Small Screen, Big Ambitions

Naughty Dogs new game, Unchartered 3: Drake's Deception published by SCEA shows a
growing trend for games to feel more like a theatrical release movie than a small screen
interactive adventure. Games such as Heavy Rain and Drakes previous incarnations
(Unchartered: Drakes Fortune, Unchartered 2 Among Thieves leads me to believe that
video games in some altered state may become the Movies of the Future.

3D lighting & rendering developments

Next week we moving onto developing new ways in which to light and render some of our 3D visuals for print.
Hopefully the new workflow will enable us to work faster from initial concept to final output!
